About this watch

The Serica Ref. 7505 Field Chronometer is a 35 mm take on the brand’s 6190 field watch, offered in black, olive and TXD (tuxedo) dial versions. The 316L stainless steel case measures 35 mm across, 9.6 mm thick including the double-domed sapphire crystal, with a 41.5 mm lug-to-lug, short curved lugs and 20 mm between them, and 200 m (20 ATM) water resistance with a screw-down crown. The movement is the Swiss Soprod M100 automatic, COSC-certified, 28,800 vph, 25 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve, and the watch is delivered on a Bonklip bracelet with a Safe-Lock clasp. Serica lists it from 1,090 EUR, and 1,190 EUR for the TXD.

Monochrome called it a shrunken version of the 6190 and said its author preferred it to the larger model; Time+Tide argued that 35 mm is the new 36 mm, and aBlogtoWatch’s hands-on highlighted its compact size with big presence. One reader comment on Monochrome felt the bezel was too thin relative to the dial, which is a single opinion and not a review finding.

The 7505 is currently in production and on Serica’s official store, where the TXD is in stock and some other versions have sold out.
