The Serica Ref. 1174 Parade is a lugless, shaped dress watch offered with brass and black guilloché dials and in a later Linen series with tobacco and slate blue dials. Its 316L stainless steel case measures 35 mm by 41 mm and 8.2 mm thick including the beveled sapphire crystal, with an 18 mm strap width, a “double step” bezel and 100 m (10 ATM) water resistance with a push-pull crown. Inside is the Swiss Soprod M100 automatic (28,800 vph, 25 jewels, 42 hours), COSC-certified, and the watch is supplied on a grained calfskin strap (an alligator-pattern strap on the Linen versions). Serica lists it at 1,490 EUR.
Monochrome found it striking and well balanced between elegance and originality, praising its design intent and finishing, while noting some readers may find it less conventional than they like. Fratello said it wears smaller than its dimensions suggest because there are no lugs, and an owner review on Dialicious praised the engraved sunburst dial. Sources disagree on some specifications such as movement type, so I followed Serica’s own specification page.
The Parade is currently in production and on Serica’s official store.
