About this watch

The Tudor Pelagos Ultra, reference M2543C1A7NU-0001, is a professional dive watch rated to 1,000 m. Its 43 mm case is made of grade 2 titanium with a grade 5 titanium caseback, measures 14.5 mm thick and 52 mm lug to lug, and has 22 mm lugs. An integrated helium escape valve is fitted for saturation diving. The 60-click unidirectional bezel carries a matte black ceramic insert with fully luminous markings. The matte black dial has large block-shaped luminous hour markers, a date window at three, a printed minute track on a raised rehaut and Snowflake hands that glow in two colours, blue for the hour and seconds hands and green for the minute hand. A flat sapphire crystal covers the dial. The movement is the in-house automatic calibre MT5612-U with a 65-hour power reserve, certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS with resistance to 15,000 gauss and a daily rate tolerance of 0 to +5 seconds.

Tudor presented the Pelagos Ultra at Watches and Wonders in April 2025 as the first Pelagos rated to 1,000 m and the largest Pelagos to date. It comes on a three-link titanium bracelet with a folding clasp that combines Tudor’s T-fit micro-adjustment, the spring-loaded Pelagos expansion system and a fold-out diver’s extension. A black rubber strap with titanium endlinks and buckle is also supplied. Launch prices were CHF 5,500 and USD 5,950. Worn and Wound reported USD 6,100 in May 2025, and US retailers now list it at USD 6,900.

Reviewers were largely positive. aBlogtoWatch named it a possible best in show of Watches and Wonders 2025 and called the clasp possibly the best part of the watch, while noting that it still wears large, that the raised rehaut gives a cleaner look at the expense of some character and that technical changes beyond the case are limited. Worn and Wound found it wore better than its 43 mm suggests, praised the bezel action, legibility and METAS certification, but disliked the bulk of the rubber strap endlinks and the redundant dial text, and noted it is Tudor’s most expensive diver. Forum commenters on WatchProSite questioned the thickness of the Pelagos line. As of October 2026 the Pelagos Ultra remains in Tudor’s regular catalogue and is in production.
