The Rolex Land-Dweller is an Oyster Perpetual with an integrated bracelet, launched at Watches and Wonders 2025 in 36 mm and 40 mm sizes. The reference 127334 is the 40 mm White Rolesor version: an Oystersteel case with a fluted 18 ct white gold bezel. The case is 9.7 mm thick, which WatchesBySJX notes makes it the slimmest Oyster Perpetual in the catalogue. It has a screw-down crown, a sapphire crystal, a sapphire display caseback and 100 m water resistance. The white dial is femtolaser-engraved with a honeycomb pattern, and the hour markers are solid blocks of luminescent ceramic-resin composite. The watch runs on the automatic calibre 7135, Rolex’s first in-house high-frequency movement. It beats at 5 Hz (36,000 vph), has a 66-hour power reserve and is certified as a Superlative Chronometer to plus or minus 2 seconds per day. Its functions are hours, minutes, central seconds and date.
The main technical feature is the Dynapulse escapement. It uses two silicon escape wheels that impulse the lever tangentially, and SJX reports it is about 30% more efficient than a conventional Swiss lever. The movement also has a ceramic balance staff, a Syloxi silicon hairspring and redesigned Paraflex shock absorbers. The Flat Jubilee bracelet is integrated into the case via a 7 mm lug. The range includes the 36 mm White Rolesor ref. 127234, Everose gold refs. 127335 and 127235, platinum refs. 127336 and 127236, and gem-set versions. At launch the 40 mm Rolesor model cost USD 14,900 and the 36 mm cost USD 13,900. Retailer Bob’s Watches now lists the 127334 at USD 15,350 and the 127234 at USD 14,450.
The Land-Dweller was one of the most discussed releases of 2025, and reactions were mixed. WatchesBySJX praised the execution and the bracelet attachment, and said the calibre 7135 may set a new benchmark for industrial mechanical timekeeping. Its reviewer disliked how strong the honeycomb dial is. aBlogtoWatch praised the movement, the comfort and the pricing. It criticised the name, the textured dial and the watch’s unclear place next to the Datejust. Bob’s Watches called it one of the more controversial models in the catalogue and reported long waiting lists at authorised dealers. As of October 2026, the Land-Dweller is in production as part of the regular Rolex collection.
