The Patek Philippe ref. 5370R-001 is a manual-wind split-seconds chronograph in 18K rose gold with an enamel dial. The polished case is 41 mm in diameter and 13.56 mm thick. It has a concave bezel, recessed satin-finished flanks and 30 m water resistance, and it comes with interchangeable solid and sapphire casebacks. The dial is Grand Feu enamel on an 18K gold plate. The main surface is glossy brown, while the subdials and tachymeter scale are in beige champlevé enamel. The numerals are applied rose gold Breguet numerals, and the leaf-shaped rose gold hands have a luminescent coating. The calibre CHR 29-535 PS has a column wheel, a horizontal clutch, an instantaneous 30-minute counter and small seconds. It measures 29.6 by 7.1 mm, has 312 parts and 34 jewels, and beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz). Power reserve is at least 65 hours with the chronograph disengaged, and it carries the Patek Philippe Seal.
The 5370 was previously offered in platinum with black and then blue enamel dials. The 5370R, launched at Watches and Wonders 2025, is the first in rose gold. The movement is the split-seconds version of the CH 29-535 used in the refs. 5172 and 5270. Patek says it has seven patented innovations, including optimised gear tooth profiles meant to reduce wear and servicing needs. WatchesBySJX describes the dial as four parts in two colours: a raised tachymeter, recessed subdials and a mirror-polished brown centre. It comes on a dark chestnut alligator strap with a patented triple-blade fold-over clasp in rose gold. The launch price was EUR 286,300, CHF 245,000 including taxes and about USD 288,700. As of October 2026, Patek’s site shows EUR 297,800 in France.
WatchesBySJX called the 5370R gorgeous and said it has a warmth the platinum versions lacked. It praised the almost flawless dial work and a movement that mixes tradition and innovation. It also noted that the change is mostly cosmetic, the movement is more than a decade old and its decoration could be more artisanal for the price. It added that 41 mm is slightly large for such an elegant design. Time+Watches listed it among the Patek releases it liked most in 2025. As of October 2026, the 5370R-001 is in production in Patek Philippe’s Grand Complications collection.
