The Zelos Nova 37mm Teal is a hand-wound dress watch from the Singapore-based microbrand Zelos. Its polished 316L stainless steel case measures 37 mm in diameter, 7 mm in thickness and 43.5 mm from lug to lug, with a 20 mm lug width. The dial pairs a sunburst CNC guilloche pattern with a fumé teal finish that darkens towards the edge, and it sits under a box sapphire crystal. The back is also fitted with a sapphire display window. Power comes from the Swiss ETA 7001 hand-wound caliber, which Zelos decorates with Côtes de Genève engraving and blued screws. The 7001 is the reason the case can stay so thin. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters.

The Nova shows hours and minutes, with a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock in the official photos, and it has no date. It is delivered on a black Horween leather strap, together with a travel case and a steel warranty card. The same 37 mm Nova case has been released in several drops with different dials: salmon, aventurine, mosaic mother of pearl and a limited tantalum-cased version. Zelos lists the Teal at USD 899, the aventurine and mosaic mother-of-pearl dials at USD 949, and the tantalum version at USD 1,999.

Reviewers have generally welcomed the Nova as a slim, well-finished mechanical dress watch from a brand better known for divers. aBlogtoWatch covered its debut and highlighted the thin hand-wound movement and textured dials. Fratello, in a hands-on with the tantalum edition, praised the wrist presence and the value of the package but found the dial busy, suggesting simple indices would suit it better than Arabic numerals. Collectors also point out that a hand-wound movement needs daily winding, which suits enthusiasts more than buyers looking for an everyday automatic. Zelos sells the Nova in limited drops, and the Teal is currently sold out on the brand’s website with no restock date announced.
