The Van Cleef & Arpels Lady Jour Nuit, reference VCARPBLR00, is a self-winding day-and-night watch from the Poetic Complications collection. The 18k white gold case measures 33 mm in diameter and 12.1 mm thick, with a diamond-set bezel and lugs, sapphire crystals front and back and 30 m water resistance. The upper half of the dial is a Murano aventurine glass disc that rotates once every 24 hours, carrying a diamond-paved moon and diamond-set stars at night and a sun in guilloché yellow gold during the day. The lower half is a horizon in mother-of-pearl, guilloché and painted in shades of blue. Hours and minutes are shown by two central hands. The automatic movement runs at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with a 36-hour power reserve, according to the GPHG listing; the brand does not publish a calibre name.

The Lady Jour Nuit was introduced at Watches and Wonders in April 2024 as a smaller 33 mm counterpart to the 38 mm Lady Arpels Jour Nuit, after about three years of development. The sapphire caseback shows the diamond-set oscillating weight beneath a crystal decorated with a starry sky and the silhouette of a fairy, decorated using two techniques new to the Maison. The watch comes on a blue alligator strap with a pin buckle, and a version on a fully diamond-set white gold bracelet is also offered. Prices are CHF 86,500 including VAT, or GBP 85,500 on the strap and GBP 172,000 on the bracelet. It is sold through Van Cleef & Arpels boutiques.

The Lady Jour Nuit won the Ladies’ Watch Prize at the 2024 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, one of three prizes the Maison collected that year alongside the Lady Arpels Jour Enchanté and the Lady Arpels Brise d’Été. Time and Tide described the 24-hour disc as lovingly decorated and saw the 33 mm size as a solution for wearers who found the 38 mm model too large; its only complaint was that the name is easily confused with the Lady Arpels Jour Nuit. Press coverage has focused on the dial craft rather than on the undisclosed movement. The Lady Jour Nuit is not a limited edition and remains in production as part of the Poetic Complications line as of October 2026.
