About this watch

The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points is a travel watch in a 41 mm titanium case that is 12 mm thick, with a matte anthracite-grey bezel, crown and pusher ring. It has sapphire crystals front and back, a screw-down crown and 150 m of water resistance. The dial has a finely grained centre to reduce reflections, a satin-finished inner minute track, applied 18k white gold hour markers and blue Super-LumiNova on markers and hands. An orange arrow-tipped hand shows home time, an orange pointer at 9 o’clock gives the AM/PM indication, and a snailed date subdial sits at 6 o’clock, set by a pusher at 4 o’clock. The in-house automatic calibre 5110 DT/3 carries the Geneva Seal. It measures 30.6 mm by 6 mm, has 234 components and 37 jewels, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and holds about 60 hours of power reserve.

Launched at Watches and Wonders in April 2026, the series comes in four dials named after the compass points: North in white (7930V/210T-H073), South in brown (H072), East in blue (H074) and West in green (H075). The titanium Overseas Dual Time traces back to a 2019 prototype made for climber Cory Richards’s Everest expedition, which led to the 150-piece Everest limited editions of 2021. Here the oscillating weight is 22k gold engraved with a wind rose. Each watch comes on an integrated titanium bracelet with an Easy-fit clasp, plus an orange rubber strap and a dial-coloured rubber strap, along with an interchangeable titanium folding clasp. The price is CHF 33,700, or USD 41,000 excluding tax.

WatchesbySJX called the release predictable and incremental but well targeted, praised the four colours, the bracelet and the price, and counted it among the year’s best launches. Its one technical complaint was the curb-pin regulator rather than a free-sprung balance. aBlogtoWatch praised the mix of matte finishes and the softer grey bezel, while noting the titanium has no hard coating and will scratch. The same writer added that owners of the earlier Everest editions may object to how close the design is. As of October 2026 the Cardinal Points models are regular production pieces, sold only through Vacheron Constantin boutiques, and not limited editions.
