The Rolex Perpetual 1908 reference 52508 on the Settimo bracelet is a time-only dress watch in 18k yellow gold. The polished case measures 39 mm in diameter and 9.5 mm in height, with a domed and fluted bezel, a domed winding crown, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and water resistance to 50 m. The dial is offered in intense white (m52508-0008) or intense black (m52508-0007), with Arabic numerals at 3, 9 and 12, baton indices and small seconds at 6 o’clock. Inside is calibre 7140, a self-winding Rolex movement with a Syloxi silicon hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. It beats at 28,800 vph and has a power reserve of about 66 hours. It is certified as a Superlative Chronometer with a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing.

Rolex introduced the bracelet version at Watches and Wonders in April 2025, two years after the 1908 line launched on leather straps. The Settimo bracelet is named after its seven rows of small, domed, mirror-polished solid gold links, which give it a vintage, rice-bead appearance. Rolex reserves it for the 1908 and has filed a patent on its attachment system, which uses a sprung locking mechanism in place of conventional spring bars. A folding Crownclasp is concealed beneath the links. The launch price was USD 35,900, about USD 12,000 more than the strap version, and EUR 35,900 against EUR 25,300 on leather. Rolex’s January 2026 US price is listed at USD 38,900.

Reviews focused on the bracelet. Watches by SJX called it typical Rolex in quality and construction, well suited to the thin case, and good value among precious-metal bracelets; its only complaint at launch was that it came in yellow gold alone. Monochrome found it among the most comfortable bracelets it had worn and judged this the most desirable 1908, but called the price gap to the strap model substantial. aBlogtoWatch described it as lavishly good, while Fratello wrote that the bracelet adds the flair the strap version lacks. Some Monochrome readers called the look ugly and crass. As of October 2026 the reference 52508 on the Settimo bracelet is in regular production in white and black dial versions.
