The Direnzo DRZ 04R Mondial is the 38 mm evolution of the brand’s integrated-bracelet sports watch, the DRZ 04 Mondial, which Direnzo introduced in 2021 as one of the first microbrand watches with an integrated bracelet. Its 316L stainless steel case measures 38 mm without the crown, 46 mm lug to lug and 10.8 mm in height including the crystal, and carries a scratch-resistant coating rated at 800 HV. The light blue dial with date is protected by a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and a screw-down caseback with a sapphire window shows the Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement in Elaboré grade with Incabloc shock protection. Water resistance is rated at 10 atm (100 meters).

The watch shows hours, minutes, central seconds and the date. Its design draws on the early jet age, when a Boeing 707 could fly from Paris to New York in eight hours, which inspired the “Mondial” name. The case flows into an integrated steel bracelet with a butterfly clasp, and the watch weighs about 140 g with all links. The 04R is offered in light blue, white, black, pink, yellow and green, each with or without date, plus limited meteorite and “Sophie” editions. The Mondial is the model that put Direnzo on many collectors’ radars: Worn & Wound’s review of the original DRZ 04 praised its well-proportioned, well-finished case and hardened steel, at a price far below most integrated-bracelet watches. The 04R keeps that formula in a smaller 38 mm case with a 46 mm lug-to-lug, which makes it easier to wear on smaller wrists than the 40 mm original.
