Adrien Sangle-Ferriere is the co-founder and director of Charlie Paris, an independent French watchmaking house established in 2014. A graduate of ESSEC Business School, Sangle-Ferriere’s entrepreneurial path began early; before founding his current venture, he had already established a company in China. His transition into the horological industry was driven by a shared vision with his childhood friend and co-founder, Ambroise Parlos, to address a perceived gap in the market for timepieces that combined high-quality design with accessible pricing.
Under Sangle-Ferriere’s leadership, the brand, originally launched as Charlie Watch, has become a significant participant in the revival of French watchmaking. Based in Paris, the company emphasizes a “Sport Tailoring” aesthetic and maintains a commitment to transparency, quality materials, and local assembly. Sangle-Ferriere has overseen the brand’s evolution from a crowdfunded startup to a permanent fixture in the industry, focusing on sustainable growth and a long-term vision that honors traditional craftsmanship while embracing modern, interchangeable design elements.
