SpaceOne is a Paris-based watch brand founded in 2023 by French independent watchmaker Théo Auffret and entrepreneur Guillaume Laidet, who is also known for reviving Nivada Grenchen and Vulcain; designer Olivier Gamiette works with Auffret on the watches and is named by some sources as a third founder. The brand began by selling through Kickstarter and still sells mainly direct through its own website, with its complications developed by Auffret and assembled in Paris.
SpaceOne pairs space-inspired designs with complications built on Swiss Soprod automatic movements at accessible prices. The Jumping Hour, the first model, sold out on Kickstarter in 2023 at around EUR 2,000; its jumping-hour mechanism uses nine parts and was developed by Auffret’s workshop. The titanium Tellurium of April 2024 shows the Earth and Moon moving around the Sun, and the WorldTimer of 2025, developed and assembled in Paris, was priced at EUR 2,700 before tax, with pre-orders limited to 600 pieces. In May 2026 SpaceOne and Baltic released the Seconde Majeure, which uses a new jumping-hours module by Auffret.
