Parmigiani Fleurier

Parmigiani Fleurier was officially launched on 29 May 1996 at the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne by Michel Parmigiani, a watchmaker trained as a master restorer of historic clocks and watches, with the backing of the Sandoz Family Foundation. The company is based in Fleurier in the Val-de-Travers, where its manufacture employs around 350 artisans who make components in-house, and it launched with 52 references. Guido Terreni, formerly head of Bulgari’s watchmaking division, leads the brand as CEO.

The brand’s core collection is the Tonda, refocused in September 2021, for the 25th anniversary, with the Tonda PF and its micro-rotor model. Parmigiani has since developed a series of ‘invisible complications’, beginning with the GMT Rattrapante in 2022, followed by the Minute Rattrapante in 2023 and the Tonda PF Chronographe Mystérieux in 2026. The Toric collection, which refers back to the brand’s beginnings, includes the Toric Chronographe Rattrapante. Six Parmigiani watches were shortlisted for the 2024 GPHG, and four, including the Chronographe Mystérieux and the Minute Rattrapante Arctic Rose, were nominated for the 2026 edition.
