Massena LAB

Massena LAB is a horological creative studio founded in 2018 by William Massena, a long-time collector and industry figure whose career includes senior roles at the auction house Antiquorum in Geneva and at the TimeZone watch forums. Rather than operating as a conventional manufacturer, it develops watches together with established brands and independent watchmakers, releasing them in limited editions; Massena has described it as a lab in which to experiment as a collector rather than a brand. Its first release was a bronze limited edition of the Habring² Erwin.

Massena LAB’s partners have included Habring², Raúl Pagès, Vianney Halter, H. Moser & Cie, MB&F and L’Epée 1839, MING, Unimatic, Louis Erard, Angelus and Sylvain Pinaud. Notable projects include the Magraph chronograph, powered by the proprietary M660 calibre developed with Raúl Pagès, the Angelus Chronographe Médical (2023), the H. Moser Endeavour Chronograph Compax (2024) and Vianney Halter’s ‘Old Soul’ with a vintage Minerva movement (2025). The Chronograph Monopoussoir made with Sylvain Pinaud won the Chronograph Prize at the 2024 GPHG. Its first watch under its own name, the 39 mm Uni-Racer chronograph inspired by the 1960s Universal Genève Uni-Compax, has since appeared in several colourways.
