The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 126502 is a Rolesium version of the Daytona with a white grand feu enamel dial. The 40 mm Oyster case, 12.2 mm high, is made of Oystersteel, with platinum used for the bezel ring and caseback, the steel-and-platinum combination Rolex calls Rolesium. The bezel insert is anthracite Cerachrom, a zirconia ceramic enriched with tungsten carbide for a metallic sheen, engraved with a tachymeter scale whose numerals are set upright, as on the first Daytonas of 1963. The case is water resistant to 100 m and fitted with a sapphire crystal. The dial is built from four enamel pieces, the main dial and the three chronograph sub-dials, fired onto a ceramic base so that it is as thin as a metal dial and does not warp. The movement is the automatic calibre 4131, a chronograph running at 4 Hz (28,800 vph) with a 72-hour power reserve, certified as a Superlative Chronometer to within -2/+2 seconds per day. It is visible through the caseback.
Rolex introduced the 126502 at Watches and Wonders in April 2026, with deliveries through Rolex boutiques and retailers from May 2026. It is the first Daytona to use Rolesium. The calibre 4131, launched in 2023, is finished with Côtes de Genève and, in this configuration, fitted with a solid gold rotor. The watch comes on an Oystersteel Oyster bracelet. SJX describes the model as off-catalogue; no production limit has been announced. The price is USD 57,800 before taxes and EUR 56,160.
Watches By SJX was mixed. It liked the milky enamel dial, the way the anthracite bezel looks black or grey depending on the light, the legibility of the upright tachymeter numerals and the movement finishing, and noted that Rolex adds appeal without resorting to gem setting or a full precious-metal case. It also found the price somewhat excessive for a watch that is mostly steel, called the small amount of precious metal next to an enamel dial a bit disappointing, and described the pairing of grand feu enamel with a regular production model as rather counterintuitive, though the enamel dial and off-catalogue status partly justify the cost. As of October 2026 the Daytona 126502 is in production as an off-catalogue model without a published edition size.
