The Hercules HP Polished Tantalum Case is the most luxurious expression of the HP line: the same 40 mm, 9.4 mm thick, 46 mm lug-to-lug design, but with the tantalum case fully polished rather than brushed. It has sapphire crystals front and back, a see-through caseback showing the movement, and 100 m water resistance. Dials are available in several colours, including the Ice range.

The movement is the Vallée de Joux double-barrel hand-wound calibre with a 120-hour power reserve, or the micro-rotor automatic, and each watch is certified as a chronometer by Timelab in Geneva after casing. Hercules lists it from €14,995 to €15,495, with a delivery time of 8 to 10 weeks.

Fratello described it as a heavyweight, reflecting the density of tantalum. Reviews of the tantalum range generally praise the colour, weight and finishing, with the same reservations about the price and the non-screw-down crown. It is currently in production on a made-to-order basis.
