The Credor Eichi II is a hand-wound dress watch from Seiko’s luxury Credor brand, in a precious-metal case with a hand-crafted dial, and the CSV dates it to 2014. It runs the hand-wound calibre 7R14, and the dial is made with a fine traditional technique, depending on the edition, such as enamel or urushi lacquer. I did not find reliable official figures for the 2014 edition, so case size and power reserve are not stated here.
The Eichi II is the successor to the original Credor Eichi, and its dial design and thin-bezel case follow the minimalist Japanese approach found in Grand Seiko. Seiko’s Micro Artist Studio and Credor’s artisans are credited with the finishing of the movement and dial.
Reviewers describe the Eichi II as one of the finest Japanese dress watches, a quiet and refined alternative to Swiss luxury, but it is not widely sold outside Japan. The Eichi II line remains in production in new editions.
