The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 40mm (C60-40ADA31S0KK1-B0) is the 40 mm version of the brand’s slimmer, everyday Trident dive watch. Its brushed and polished Light-catcher stainless steel case is 40 mm in diameter, 11.3 mm high and 47.45 mm from lug to lug, with a 20 mm lug width; it is up to 1.9 mm slimmer than the Trident Pro 600, depending on case size. The polished black lacquer dial has larger top-brushed indexes with diamond-polished facets, the brand’s twin-flags logo at 12 o’clock and a date at 6, all under an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It is powered by the Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 automatic, a 26-jewel, 4 Hz movement with a 38-hour power reserve, and water resistance is rated at 300 meters (30 ATM).

The two-part unidirectional bezel combines a rotating outer section with a black zirconia ceramic insert and a fixed steel inner ring with minute increments, and its numbers, the hands and the indexes are filled with Super-LumiNova Grade X1 BL C1. An arrow-head seconds hand with the Trident counterweight, central hacking seconds, an anti-shock system and a screw-down display caseback showing the decorated movement complete the watch. It comes on the marine-grade steel Bader bracelet, which tapers to 16.5 mm at the clasp and has single screw links, a micro-adjustable ratchet clasp and a quick-release system. Christopher Ward lists it at EUR 1,260 on its EU store.

Reviewers have welcomed the Trident Pro 300 as a more wearable Trident. aBlogtoWatch, reviewing the range, noted that the proportions are kept consistent across case sizes, praised the screw-down crown and the smooth, fully lumed bezel, and named the ratcheting clasp, which can only be resized off the wrist, as the main weak point. Wristwatch Review highlighted its appeal as an affordable dive watch with a full set of specifications and many colour and strap options. The C60 Trident Pro 300 40mm black-dial version is in production and was listed as in stock on Christopher Ward’s official site at the time of writing.
