The Chopard Imperiale Four Seasons, reference 385394-1001, is a diamond-set women’s watch with a seasonal complication. The 36 mm case is made of ethical 18k white gold and is 12.1 mm thick, with water resistance to 50 m, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a sapphire case back. The case, bezel, lugs and lotus-shaped crown are set with 3.79 carats of white diamonds, including 125 on the dial. The upper half of the dial is a white gold lotus flower with satin-finished petals and polished veins. Below it, a painted mother-of-pearl marquetry disc rotates once every 365 days to show the colours of the four seasons. The movement is the in-house self-winding L.U.C 96.31-L with a tungsten micro-rotor and an added Four Seasons module. It is 5.55 mm thick, has 227 components and 31 jewels, runs at 4 Hz (28,800 vph) and stores about 65 hours of power in two stacked barrels.
The Imperiale collection dates from 1994 and has long used the lotus flower motif. The Four Seasons followed the Imperiale Day and Night of 2023, but here the lotus sits in the upper half of the dial. The seasonal disc is indexed to the hour hand, so it advances with normal timekeeping. The movement bridges carry Côtes de Genève, and the main plate has circular graining. The watch comes with four interchangeable alligator straps in blue, green, yellow and orange, one for each season, plus an 18k white gold pin buckle. Launched in July 2025, it is a numbered limited edition of 25 pieces sold only in Chopard boutiques. It costs USD 113,500 or EUR 103,000; the GPHG listing gave CHF 91,000 including VAT.
The Imperiale Four Seasons won the Ladies’ Complication Watch Prize at the 2025 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. Time+Tide’s Tom Austin praised the layered marquetry disc and called the slow-moving complication a rare one that rewards the wearer over weeks. He also noted that heavily diamond-set watches can be hit or miss, but felt this one did not look too flashy, especially on the leather straps. Time+Tide also pointed out that the complication is meant to slow the wearer down rather than serve a practical purpose. As of October 2026 Chopard still lists the watch and invites buyers to register interest for very limited availability; it remains a 25-piece limited edition.
