About this watch

The Bovet Récital 30 is an automatic world-time watch in the brand’s Dimier collection. The case measures 42 mm by 12.9 mm and is offered in grade 5 titanium, 18-carat red gold and, on the current Bovet site, ceramic. It has a cabochon crown, two pushers on the right flank, a heavily domed sapphire crystal and 30 m water resistance. The display uses 26 rollers: 24 city rollers, one time-period roller and one world-time roller, arranged around a central 24-hour world-time dial with a day/night indicator. The in-house calibre R30-70-001 beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and has a 62-hour power reserve. Functions are hours, minutes, world time with daylight-saving correction and an additional off-set minute hand for New Delhi’s half-hour offset.

The Récital 30 adapts the roller system of the Récital 28, a far larger flying tourbillon with perpetual calendar, into a single-complication watch. The top pusher turns every city roller by 90 degrees to one of four periods of the year (UTC, American Summer Time, European and American Summer Time, European Winter Time), so all 24 zones stay correct through daylight-saving changes. The bottom pusher advances the 24-hour dial by one hour. Launched in April 2025, it comes in Universal and India versions, with the latter centring the main hands on Delhi time. Bovet offers customisation of city names and dial colours. SJX reported prices of CHF 68,000 in titanium and CHF 96,800 in red gold before tax; the GPHG listed the titanium reference R30-0001 at CHF 73,508 including VAT. It is fitted with a rubber or fabric strap.

The Récital 30 won the Men’s Complication Prize at the 2025 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. Watches by SJX welcomed the more wearable size and lower price compared with the Récital 28, and the handling of India’s offset, but felt the watch was somewhat watered down, with a dial that covers the face and a full rotor that hides a plainly decorated movement. Time+Tide liked the cut-away lugs, the readable dial and the everyday proportions, while regretting that Bovet did not show a finished movement and noting the modest 30 m water resistance. It is not a limited edition, although only 30 red gold pieces were planned for 2025. As of October 2026 the Récital 30 is in production.
