Emmanuelle Festa Bianchet is a co-founder and managing partner of Bianchet, an independent Swiss luxury watch manufacture established in 2017. Born into a family of French artists and musicians in Rome, her early professional life was defined by the arts and humanities. She attended the conservatory as a pianist and developed a career as an accomplished painter and sculptor, with her work often exhibited in art galleries. Her artistic background instilled a deep appreciation for the principles of harmony and the mathematical foundations of beauty, particularly the Golden Ratio and the Fibonacci sequence.
Before entering the horological industry, Festa Bianchet also worked in journalism. In 2017, she embarked on a new entrepreneurial venture alongside her husband, Rodolfo Festa Bianchet, a successful fintech entrepreneur. Together, they founded Bianchet in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with the goal of creating high-end timepieces that blend contemporary design, advanced micro-engineering, and classical aesthetic proportions. The brand is notable for being the first to develop its entire movement architecture and watch cases based on the Golden Ratio (1.618).
Within the brand’s leadership, Festa Bianchet brings a focus on design, architecture, and the search for aesthetic balance. She has been instrumental in defining the brand’s identity, which emphasizes “form-first” design and the use of the tourbillon as a central mechanical principle.
