Albedo is an independent watch brand based in Horst, The Netherlands, founded in 2022 by Sarkis and Qais with a mission to provide high-specification timepieces at an accessible price point. The brand’s design philosophy emphasizes longevity and “honest horology,” utilizing premium materials like scratch-resistant sapphire crystals and full-grain Italian leather as baseline standards rather than optional upgrades. Their debut model, the Albedo 1901, is a mechanical column-wheel chronograph powered by the Seagull ST-1901 movement, featuring an upgraded golden swan-neck regulator for enhanced precision and a vintage-inspired dial with Roman numerals. Following this, the brand introduced the Solaris, a more industrial and rugged sports chronograph built from surgical-grade 316L stainless steel and equipped with a Japanese VK63 Meca-Quartz movement, 100m water resistance, and BGW9 SuperLuminova for modern utility.
