AndoAndoAndo is a Finnish-Japanese design company and microbrand founded in 2020 by Japanese designer Yu Ando, who is currently based in Helsinki, Finland. The brand is characterized by a design philosophy that merges Japanese minimalism with Finnish practicality, focusing on ergonomic, inclusive, and genderless timepieces. Its debut model, the A-1 Automatic, features a distinctive asymmetrical 316L stainless steel case inspired by Étienne-Louis Boullée’s architecture, utilizing a Seiko NH36A movement and a recessed crown to prevent wrist irritation. Another significant release is the Vinyl Record Watch, a collaboration-heavy series powered by a Miyota 9039 movement that mimics the aesthetic of a Technics SL-1200 turntable, using discs to display the time.
