Arcturus

Arcturus watch brand logo

Arcturus is a Singapore-based independent watch brand founded in 2017 by Alexander Ian Loh, dedicated to creating timepieces that blend complex design with accessible pricing. The brand’s debut model, the Lion City 1 (LC-1), features a 42mm cushion case and an art-deco aesthetic inspired by 1920s opulence, powered by a Miyota 9132 movement and often featuring iridescent mother-of-pearl or carnelian dials. Expanding its portfolio, the brand introduced the LC-2 Vanda Tourbillon, which pays homage to Singapore’s national flower through an engraved caseback and a variety of dial materials including aventurine and malachite. This model utilizes a hand-wound Peacock SL-5200 flying tourbillon movement, positioned at 6 o’clock, to offer enthusiasts a high horology complication at a mid-range price point. Arcturus distinguishes itself by incorporating multi-layered dial architecture and diverse finishing techniques that reflect both historical design cues and a modern, regional identity.
